Yet another amazing answer to prayer!!!
In Heal Our Land UK we pray for the media..."You Lord are able to pull down the ungodly and raise up the righteous. Purge that industry of the uncleaness that permeates it and bless those who stand for wholesome values."
Our musical director, Lloyd Wade (seen left, singing "GO" in Heal Our Land UK) is backing Eliza Dolittle singing "pack up your troubles" #3 in British Pop charts.
Other news
Dear Prayer Warriors!
The Heal Our Land UK event in Fair Oak Eastleigh was again a great success! God is on the move in the UK!
The Big Top was full with about 500 in attendance. Members of the audience there spoke of being greatly encouraged and challenged.
Heal Our Land UK was a part of the ongoing outreach of the churches in the village of Fair Oak. We were able to be a part of their community outreach in the schools by accompanying their new "School Pastors" programme on their morning rounds, as well as attend their "teddy bears picnic" mums and toddlers group.
A highlight was when we were invited by the local vicar to a riding stable where we were able to speak to a group of employees and students.
We are now having meetings discussing the way forward. There is interest in the US and growing interest here in the UK. Please pray with us for the completion of the resource materials and more bookings in the autumn.
In all, the first four full productions saw: 144 churches across all denominations and ethnicities take part, 374 people of all ages in the choirs, 2850 people attending the presentations and 300 decisions for Christ including 30 new people added to the church Ashford. 1000s hear the Gospel in the streets and outreach events including many from "unreached areas". We spoke with folks from Baluchistan, Pakistan, China, Kazakstan, Iraq, India, Sri Lanka, Iran, Yemen, Afghanistan, Nepal, and many other nations in all continents!
BEXHILL
Following the incident in the streets of BexhilI, I was reminded of a part in the Heal Our Land script when we are doing spiritual warfare: "Defeat the plots of those who try to silence the voice of the church in the public square."
Michael Ensor, the organiser for Heal Our Land UK Bexhill is both a town and county councillor, he has written the council and asked for an apology to be issued to me for the aggressive manner in which the environmental health officer approached me, as he thrust his council badge in my face, read me my rights and threatened to arrest me for singing "Amazing Grace" ! I have a "Rother District Council Warning Notice" as a souvenir! That department has given Michael difficulties in the past, we pray that opposition from that quarter will stop!
A verse we were given by the Lord is as follows: 1 Chronicles 28:20-21
"...Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God...is with you. He will not fail or forsake you. He will see to it that all the work related to the Temple (building the church through Heal our Land) is finished correctly...Those with skills of every kind will volunteer and the officials and the entire nation are at your command."
BEXHILL-ON-SEA Saturday 10 July 2010 3 & 7 pm
Several churches in Bexhill-on-Sea invited Heal Our Land UK into their area. They were shocked when the De La Warr Pavilion refused their request to hire the theatre to them.
This put them in an awkward position as the only church in the town large enough to hold the event, St. Barnabas, was eager to help, but are having extensive building work done.
So now 2 presentations will be held in the
Beulah Baptist Church at 3:30pm & 7pm, Buckhurst Road, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex TN40 1QA
More information: 01424 225918. An offering will be taken toward the event.
A global prayer network will be joining the churches in Bexhill-on- Sea for a week of prayer, beginnng on 4th July and ending with a prayer walk from Ashford, Kent passing on the prayer “baton” 10 July. The musical event on 10 July begins at 3:30pm with another presentation at 7pm. Sunday 11th ushers in a week of evangelism in the town! Everyone is most welcome!

BATTLE FOR BRITAIN
The Bexhill-on-Sea performance falls on the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the Battle of Britain, 10th July 1940. Defeat appeared inevitable as the King and his church advisers called for Sunday 8th September 1940 to be a national day of prayer for a miracle to turn the tide in what was already becoming known as the “Battle of Britain”! Suddenly, for no rational reason, Hitler ordered the Luftwaffe to switch it's attack back to London. This saved Fighter Command. For the Germans, it was a, 'catastrophic blunder ..' and proved to be a turning point in the war. The Spitfires and Hurricanes took a tremendous toll of the enemy and by mid - September, the German Air Force had suffered such great losses that they ceased their mass attacks. On the 17th September 1940 the German High Command issued an order,
“The invasion of England is postponed until further notice.”
The Battle of Britain was won. Winston Churchill addressed the nation: “Never in the field of human conflict has so much been owed by so many to so few.”
But the whole nation acknowledged that it was not simply their tiny but resourceful armed forces, or the skill of their young airmen that had repelled the might of the enemy but the power of prayer and the faithfulness of God.
In this Battle for Britain, AIR SUPREMACY must be gained in the spiritual realm! Our prayers do just that (2 Cor 10:4). God hears us and creates the conditions for victory, and like those courageous men and women who risked their lives to save their fellow countrymen, we, as believers must be mobilised to rescue our families, friends, neighbours and work colleagues from the dangerous moral decay and sinister corruption that threatens our very existence! This is not a battle that can be won, on the land or in the air, with physical weapons of war, the weapons must be SPIRITUAL. We believe Heal Our Land UK in Bexhill and Fair Oak, Eastleigh is a part of this Divine arsenal! Let’s get air supremacy and then take our streets back for Jesus!
ASHFORD, KENT REPORT
On 29th May over 700 people flooded into the Stour Centre in Ashford, Kent. Pastors and choir members from 20 local churches took part in the evening along with the core choir led by Lloyd Wade. This date was significant for Ashford as the country was celebrating the “miracle of deliverance” at Dunkirk 70 years previously on the 27th May 1940. Ashford was a point of evacuation and locals still remember those events and how on Sunday 26th May, 1940, King George VI called the whole nation to a Day of Prayer. Immediately a series of miracles occurred and amazingly 335,000 men were evacuated from Dunkirk, which was a turning point in world history.
With this in mind, we invited the local British Legion to take part in the production and within 24 hrs, they marched with flags and a 12 man squad of retired Nepalese Gurkha troops and their families, who now make their homes in Ashford!

The following week was filled with many evangelistic outreaches in the streets, schools, in dinners, concerts and youth activities. There was a fresh openness to the Gospel. People from China, India, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Iraq, Turkey and Sri Lanka heard the Gospel for the first time on the streets of Ashford! They came to the evening events to hear more!
The Multi Cultural Extravaganza in Victoria Park was opened by Ashford MP Damien Green, Minister for Immigration, and despite the rainy weather, well over 1000 attended and 25 people were prayed with for salvation.

Throughout the week, over 100 people were prayed for and 60 people are now being followed up, after making decisions to follow Christ. God touched peoples’ lives. A whole family came to Christ and has joined a local Alpha course.
Some comments by leaders in Ashford:
“This whole event has been such a challenge and an awakening, especially for this nation at this time with a change in government. This is such a fantastic opportunity. God’s people need to be prepared to respond to the
challenge that this event brought. I hope the effects of this goes on for many years.”
Richard Eason, Francis Road Evangelical Church
“It has been an amazing opportunity to work with other churches in unity with each other...with no barriers of race or creed or church or denomination...
Caire Watson, Highfield Community Church
“It was absolutely fantastic...all the singing and words really inspired me to want to tell the youth about God and go out and really impact their lives and tell them about God.” Bethany Webb, Youth Leader, Ashford Christian Fellowship
“Heal Our Land, absolutely brilliant! Everything combined with the music, with the choreographing of dances, the banners, and the prayers for our land, for repentance and awakening. You’ve got to be part of this! It’s a time of change for our land!”
Pastor David Lamb, Ashford Christian Fellowship.

In Ashford Kent the church goes back over 800 years! On a Pentecost Sunday in 1517 a believer named John Brown was martyred by being burnt at the stake in Ashford. We stood in that very spot and prayed that his sacrifice and that of others who were martyred here would not be in vain.
FROM 'HEAL OUR LAND, STRATEGIES FOR PRAYER AND ACTION'
"The early days of the Second World War threatened to bring the whole of Europe under the dark cloud of Nazi oppression.
France had fallen to the rapidly advancing German Panzer divisions leaving the British Army stranded on the Continent and desperate to return across the Channel to defend their home land from what appeared to be inevitable invasion.
It was a desperate situation and on 27th May 1940 the German High Command announced
"The British Army is encircled and our troops are proceeding to its annihilation."
But the dire plight of the situation had already been recognised in Britain.
The day before the German announcement, Sunday 26th May, King George VI called the whole nation to a Day of Prayer.
In a stirring broadcast, the King called the people of Britain and the Empire to commit their cause to God. The whole nation responded. Large crowds went to Westminster Abbey. Unable to find seats inside, they stood outside listening to the service and joining in prayer. Churches across the land were full. Immediately a series of miracles occurred.
THREE MIRACLES
1. A spirit of confusion clouded the German High Command. Irrationally, Hitler ordered his generals to halt the advance towards the west coast of France.
2. A storm of extraordinary fury grounded the German Luftwaffe on 28th May allowing the British forces to make their way to Dunkirk.
3. A great calm followed which settled over the English Channel for several days with low cloud cover allowing an armada of little ships, many of them only river boats, to cross the Channel and ferry the waiting soldiers from the beaches out to Royal Navy warships for the return to Dover.
Amazingly 335,000 men were evacuated from Dunkirk in those few momentous days which were a turning point in world history. This was seen at the time as a direct response to the whole nation coming in humility before God in prayer.
Winston Churchill, the British Prime Minister, told the nation that he believed this to be a miracle - an answer to prayer.
In a speech to Parliament he said,
"I thought, and some good judges agreed with me, that perhaps 20,000 or 30,000 men might be re- embarked. The whole root and core and brain of the British Army seemed about to perish upon the field or to be led into captivity." Heal Our Land Strategies for Prayer and Action pg. 151 - you can get the book from CCM.
CONFUSION IN ENEMY HIGH COMMAND
But the safe return of so many men did not guarantee the survival of Britain. The army had had to leave its weapons and equipment in France and now had to regroup, rearm and reposition itself to face the threat of invasion. The spirit of confusion continued to affect Hitler's judgement.
Amazingly, he did not follow across the channel immediately after Dunkirk when Britain was at his mercy. He continued to hesitate throughout June to August 1940 giving Britain a breathing space and an opportunity to re-group and prepare for the coming battle."
BRITAIN IS IN GREAT TROUBLE AGAIN
BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS - GOD STILL ANSWERS PRAYER! HE CARES FOR OUR COUNTRY!
TODAY, MEN AND WOMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS ARE STRANDED ON THE BEACH OF AN UNCERTAIN FUTURE.
Under enemy attack, they are ravaged by the results of a society driven by greed and lust. They are lost in a spiritual vacuum.
God is answering our prayers, he is creating the conditions for rescue. Like those courageous men and women who took to their boats, risking their lives to save their fellow countrymen, we, as believers need to be mobilised to rescue our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues from the of moral decay and corruption that threatens our very existence!
This is not a battle that can be won on the land or in the air with physical weapons of war,
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. our weapons are 2 Cor. 10:4
WE ARE CONVINCED THAT GOD IS CALLING HIS PEOPLE FROM AROUND THIS REGION TO COME TOGETHER FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS! TO BE RECONCILED AND TO BE RE- FIRED TO SEE THIS NATION COME TO JESUS!

Liverpool Cathedral Report

In Liverpool Cathedral over 1000 people from many churches, (over 100 churches were involved in the week of prayer preceding the musical event) joined from many denominations and nationalities. A local choir of over 100 people raised their voices with the 12 strong multi-cultural core choir from London in powerful songs of worship, praise and spiritual warfare.
The night was one of significance. The organisers had tried in vain months before to get a venue for the Saturday night. Little did they know that the very night God had planned for the event, Monday, 10 May, would be a night of decision for Prime Minister Gordon Brown. As we prayed, he was deciding if he should step down as Prime Minister. The next day he did and a new Prime Minster was appointed. See or listen to the prayer that was prayed at www.healourlanduk.com by one of the church leaders.
The many Christian believers from all over the world who now call Britain "home" were released to be the “new force for the new field”.

We saw this dramatically displayed the following week in Newsham Park, when over 1000 people gathered, in beautiful weather, in answer to prayer from a Pakistani theological College, for a “Multi Cultural Extravaganza”. “Make Jesus Known” provided their expertise and welcomed the many groups who brought their own national flavour to the stage in song and dance. A group of Iranian believers led dozens of people who were there from Pakistan, various African nations, northern and southern Americans and local Liverpudlians, in a spontaneous dance. Through this expression of God’s love for everyone in the world, over 50 people made decisions for Christ including 6 Iranians. Around 100 people prayed to receive Christ over the week of evangelism, in the park and on the streets.
Some comments from leaders there:
“The prayers prayed ....with excitement and passion and unity is going to make a difference, it was really good. It was a moving, wonderful, experience. If you are thinking of doing it in your area, Go for it!”
John Manwell, Chairman, Together for the Harvest
“We had a fantastic time...a wonderful atmosphere of music, praise and prayer as God’s people have come together to give Him the worship and to be challenged to go out and heal our land.” Wayne Clark, BBC Radio Merseyside
“We felt the presence of God...and that (Heal Our Land) is absolutely right for the nation, it’s where the nation is at. We believe we have been the voice of God at a time like this...it is a part of what God is doing, we look forward to see what God will do ...Tani Omideyi, Lighthouse
“Something very unique...different flavours, different expressions of church gathering in one place, unified by the Good News of Jesus Christ. We have not only declared and proclaimed that Jesus is the answer for our cities and for our nation but we believe we have loosed something in the heavenlies that will flood into our land and see it healed for the glory of God.”
Pastor Dave Connelly, Frontline Church
“ I am trusting that as Heal Our Land as goes to other parts of this country, what has happened here in Liverpool tonight will be like a benchmark. I praise the Lord for this!
Pastor Ayo Akinsanya, Deeper Life Bible Church

HEAL OUR LAND UK LAUNCH
Saturday, 12 September 2009 at Moggerhanger Park
More than 250 invited guests attended the launch of the new musical "Heal Our Land" at Moggerhanger Park on 12th September 2009. The perfect weather of unbroken sunshine throughout the day enabled many prayer partners of the Centre for Contemporary Ministry who had been attending the Open Day to sit on the grass outside the marquee and enjoy the event.

Central to the launch was a cross cultural/interdenominational choir led by Lloyd and Denis Wade who sang four songs from
“Heal Our Land” with a professional quality that also had a special anointing which added a spiritual dimension to the harmonies. Between the songs a number of speakers gave the background to the musical, its purpose and the need it is expected to fulfil when it goes on a national tour next year. HEAL OUR LAND UK singers

Dr Clifford Hill spoke of the social revolution that had shaken the nation in the past 40 years culminating in the banking and financial crisis which has paved the way for a new openness to the gospel in Britain. He thanked the Rev Kenn Baird UK National Leader of the Foursquare Church for their generous gift of £50,000 that had enabled the launch and subsequent project to be developed. Lady Susie Sainsbury spoke of the need for prayer for our nation as, without prayer giving direction and bringing the blessing of God, all our human effort will not be effective.

Lady Susie Sainsbury and Liz Doyle
Dr Justin Thacker of the Evangelical Alliance emphasised the need for united action if Christians were to fulfil their mission of communicating truth to the nation at this time and George Verwer founder of Operation Mobilisation brought a blend of humour and enthusiasm in his call for Christians of all branches of the church to be active in sharing their faith. Liz Doyle gave some of the background to the writing of “Heal Our Land” and praised the work of Lloyd and Denis Wade who had re-arranged and updated some of the songs from the original musical written by Jimmy and Carol Owens and had also written some new songs. She said that in the coming weeks new songs will be written and the
script will be revised and finalised.

George Verwer - Founder of Operation Mobilisation
What's Next
Three pre-launch presentations are being arranged for January 2010. These will be primarily for Christian leaders from cities where churches have shown an interest in hosting “Heal Our Land”. These presentations are being planned in London, Liverpool and Birmingham. Liz Doyle reported that already there is a list of about 10 cities where leaders are planning to host the
musical.
The tour is expected to begin in April 2010.
Liverpool is hoping to host the first presentation.
Each event will cover a two week period with the first week being devoted to prayer, preparation and helping Christians in the local churches to know how to share their faith. The week will
climax in the presentation of “Heal Our Land” over the weekend and the following week there will be a concentration on mobilisation of the local churches in a variety of evangelism outreaches on the streets of the city.
Guests sat at round tables each seating ten and they were placed so that they shared a common interest. Among the 25 tables there were tables for musicians, for those working in the media, for evangelists, for pastors and church leaders, for businessmen, professionals, youth and children's workers, intercessors and even a table for the military and police as among the guests there were an army Major, on sick leave from Afghanistan, and two Major Generals.

A number of guests were church leaders from cities and towns where interest has been expressed in hosting a “Heal Our Land” event. These cities included Liverpool, London, Newcastle, Cardiff, Southampton, Ashford and Leicester. Enquiries have already been received from a number of other cities where church leaders are praying about the possibility of being involved. During the launch the importance of this prayer-backing on a united basis was emphasised and it was seen as essential that prayer networks across the country need to be linked to ensure adequate prayer covering.
The programme included video greetings from Pat Boone, Jimmy and Carol Owens, Pastor Jack Hayford and Jean Darnall who had all been involved in the If My People productions of the 1970s, all assuring us of the prayer and practical support of Christians in the USA who are keenly interested in the progress of the gospel in Britain. A time of round-table discussion gave opportunity for guests to give their reactions to what they had heard of “Heal Our Land” and how they thought they could
become involved. The feedback from this discussion was very valuable for the organisers. This was followed by a time of prayer around the tables and the second presentation of the “Heal Our Land” theme song after which Syd Doyle led the assembly in a final a time of prayer.

The whole launch event was recorded by video and 20 of the guests recorded interviews which will form part of a DVD which will be made available for those who are praying about having a
presentation in their town or city to further their work of evangelism during 2010.
The launch exceeded all expectations with a consensus of agreement that the time was right for this project to begin. Funding is now being raised to produce a CD and DVD for purchase. Talks are in progress with church leaders about how this collaborative effort can further mission in their towns and
cities, prayer networks are being alerted and main media outlets are gearing up to "get the message out". We are recruiting local choirs, music groups, and creative arts to become involved.
