WHAT"S NEXT????
The Heal Our Land event is to act as the catalyst for the recruitment of a further 50 School Pastors throughout the week who will then be fully trained and commissioned come September 2010, from all of the participating churches across all the schools of the sub-region as an ongoing witness to Jesus Christ.
The semi-rural location of the Eastleigh sub-region means that the opportunity for ongoing week-in-week-out salt and light ministry will enable many conversations to lead to the opportunity for people to consider the Lord Jesus and coming into the life of the local churches.
FOLLOW UP
Ongoing evangelistic initiatives through to 2012 following on from Heal Our Land UK
"Light Party" - 31 October 2010 a celebration of the light of Jesus in contrast to the darkness of Halloween. This will have a youth and family focus and groups (29th Chapter and the Message Trust) will be helping the local regional churches to build on the Heal Our Land event for presentation of the Gospel to the community.
"Jesus Returns to the Stable: Nativity at The Quob Stables".
In the region, a large equestrian training centre, which can hold 1500 people, will become the regional focus for the celebration of the nativity at the end of 2010.
In both 2011 and 2012 it is anticipated that The Light Party and Nativity events will become fully established but also….
Heal Our Land will act as a pre-cursor and prophetic proclamation for a whole raft of plans for 2011 which is being called locally the “Year of the Bible”, as we “bolt-in” to the BibleFresh initiative, within the churches and the 2011 Trust within the local culture, as we celebrate the 400th Anniversary of the Authorised Version (KJV) of the Bible .
And then…….
Plans to engage the Olympic Games with external large Video screens locally will also give ongoing evangelistic opportunity throughout 2012.
In conclusion: Heal Our Land UK will inject life into the whole of the community from the summer of 2010 onwards, with week 2 specifically being seen as the “launch pad” for all sorts of ongoing evangelistic initiatives through to 2012 and beyond.
